Privacy Policy

Last Updated on November 15, 2019

We strive to collect only the minimum amount of user information necessary for us to provide the services requested. This information includes your name, physical address, email address, and payment information. We collect all sensitive information through the website using security best practices, including SSL encryption. We also store all data in well-secured servers.

By browsing or completing a transaction through the website, or by providing us with your information via other communication channels, you consent to our collecting the data required and using it (1) for the specific purpose for which it was submitted (including providing only the necessary information to third parties, such as to ship an order) and (2) for our contacting you regarding any business related directly to said purpose, such as responding to questions, troubleshooting, or asking for clarification; you do not consent to our using your data for any other reason unless (1) we are required by law to disclose it under special circumstances or (2) you violate our Terms and Conditions. We will either ask for your permission or give you the opportunity to decline consent to use your information for any secondary purposes, such as marketing.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We also use the services of Google for tracking website analytics data. We use this information to optimize the user experience and formulate business strategy.

You can request to withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your information; see what information we have about you; or correct or change any data we have about you. To perform any of the preceding actions, please write an email with an express request to jarvisarms.llc@gmail.com. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

Although the nature of electronic network communications precludes 100 percent security, we do everything in our power to keep users’ data as secure as technology permits.

When we provide links to websites outside of the jarvisarms.com domain, we are merely providing additional information we believe may be useful to users. By doing so, we are not in any way endorsing their privacy policies or security practices, and we cannot accept responsibility for them. Please refer to said external sites’ own privacy policies, if available.

Your web browser may allow you to send a DNT (“Do Not Track”) request to any websites and services you visit online. Due to the lack of industry consensus as to the meaning of such requests, we, as many online sites and services, do not alter our practices, and this website does not alter its behavior, when we receive such requests.

USER-CONTRIBUTED CONTENT

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
